 WINTER SNOW ROUTE PROCEDURES
In the interest of safety for our students, the following route changes will be in effect when it is announced that buses are running on winter snow routes. Our drivers are experienced with driving in bad weather conditions, but with ultimate safety for the students in mind, buses may be re-routed to avoid some dangerous hilly areas. Buses may be running a few minutes late due to road conditions, but pickups will be made unless there are radio announcements to the contrary. If the bus is more than 15 minutes late getting to your stop, please call the transportation office at 360-983-3185 to let us know.

School may also start two hours late. If this occurs, the buses will also be two hours later than normal. Should it become necessary to delay the start of school, place buses on winter snow routes, or cancel classes, announcements will be made on the following radio and TV stations and on our district website at www.mossyrockschools.org

 FM          AM          TV
104.3      1470      KIRO 7
95.1        1420      KING 5
96.1                       KOMO 4

Other stations may broadcast our changes and information as well.

*Out of District Transportation: If either school delays or cancels, our out of district transportation will do the same.

If we are running our snow routes and students are not able to make it to the pick-up points safely, they will be expected to treat the day as a "remote learning" day and follow the associated procedures. If it is necessary to run on snow routes in the PM, a separate announcement will be made.

Thank you for your understanding as student safety is our first concern.
